Capture terms of use.

1. Service

These terms apply to Capture by RATdeck, including the Capture website, Chrome extension and related account, subscription and team features.

2. Accounts

Some Free functions may be available without a paid account. Pro and team features may require an account. You are responsible for protecting your sign-in credentials and for activity performed through your account.

3. Plans, licenses and teams

Individual Pro is intended for one person and may be activated on up to three personal computers where supported. Team subscriptions use individual member accounts rather than one shared login. Pricing and plan details shown on the Pricing page apply unless updated before purchase.

For teams, the current commercial rule is that 6 or more paid seats receive a 25% team discount, and yearly billing provides the equivalent of two months free.

4. Your screenshots and content

You retain responsibility for the webpages, screenshots, annotations, reports and other content you capture or create. You must have the right to capture, use and share that content. Capture’s local-first architecture does not transfer ownership of your screenshot content to RATdeck.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Capture to violate law, infringe rights, bypass access controls, distribute malicious material, or capture/share information in a way you are not authorized to do.

6. Availability and changes

Features may change as Capture develops. RATdeck may improve, modify, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. Material plan or privacy changes should be reflected in the relevant product pages.

7. Disclaimers and responsibility

Capture is provided on an as-available basis. You are responsible for reviewing screenshots, privacy masking, exports and reports before sharing them. Blur/pixelate should not be treated as certified irreversible redaction for highly sensitive secrets.
