Install Capture

Install from the official Chrome Web Store.

Capture is a desktop Chrome extension. When the public listing is approved, this page will link directly to the official store installation.

Open the Chrome Web Store listing

When Capture is publicly approved, the official Chrome Web Store listing will be linked from this page. Until then, do not install Capture from unofficial third-party packages.

Choose Add to Chrome

Chrome shows the permissions requested by Capture. Review them, then approve the installation if you are comfortable.

Pin Capture

Open Chrome’s Extensions menu and pin Capture so the capture button stays easy to reach.

Choose your capture mode once

Set Full Page, Visible Screen, Select Area or Select Element. Capture remembers the selected mode until you change it.

Capture, copy and share

Take the screenshot, annotate if needed, then use Copy Image. Copy and sharing are free with no watermark or ads.

Chrome Web Store status: the public listing link should be added here only after Google approves the extension. This avoids sending users to a placeholder or unofficial install source.
