Full page screenshot for Chrome

Capture an entire webpage.
Not just what fits on screen.

Take a full page screenshot in Chrome with one capture. Capture automatically works through the scrolling page, keeps the unseen regions, and opens the result in a built-in editor for annotation, privacy masking, cropping and export.

How it works

Take a full page screenshot in five simple steps.

There is no need to manually scroll, take several screenshots and join them yourself.

1

Open the webpage in Chrome

Go to the page you want to preserve, review or share.

2

Choose Full Page once

Capture remembers your selected capture mode, so you do not have to choose it again for every screenshot.

3

Let Capture scroll and stitch

The extension captures the page section by section and assembles the unseen regions into a single full-page image.

4

Annotate or protect sensitive details

Add arrows, boxes, circles, highlights, text and callouts, or use blur and pixelate tools before sharing.

5

Copy, download or turn it into a report

Copy the screenshot, export WebP or PNG, or use professional report and PDF workflows when you need structured review output.

Built for real webpages

Full page capture that understands long, modern sites.

A long webpage can contain sticky navigation, fixed sidebars, lazy content and responsive UI. Capture's full-page workflow is designed around these real-world cases rather than treating the page as one simple static image.

Long pages

Capture pages much taller than the visible browser window and combine the unseen content into one image.

Sticky & fixed UI

Capture logic is designed to reduce common repeated-header, repeated-sidebar and fixed-element stitching problems.

Dynamic layouts

Built with modern SPA and responsive websites in mind, including pages that change as they scroll.

Freeze motion

Animations and transitions can be temporarily reduced during capture to improve consistency on moving interfaces.

Why use a full page screenshot?

One complete visual record is easier to review than ten disconnected screenshots.

A full page capture preserves the relationship between the top, middle and bottom of a webpage. That makes it useful whenever the layout itself matters, not just one small element.

QA

Website QA & bug reports

Capture the complete state of a page, mark the problem and provide context without asking someone to reproduce your scroll position.

UI

Design reviews

Review hierarchy, spacing, repeated components, content flow and visual consistency across the entire page.

DOC

Documentation

Preserve dashboards, workflows, receipts, help pages, research pages and long-form content as one visual reference.

WEB

Website redesigns

Save an existing page before changes, then compare it against a later capture during redesign or optimization work.

MKT

Landing page reviews

See the complete journey from headline to CTA and identify issues that are invisible when each viewport is reviewed separately.

CLI

Client feedback

Send an annotated, branded review rather than a chain of screenshots and explanations in separate messages.

Your full page screenshot stays on your computer.

Normal capture, stitching, annotation, comparison and local editing are designed to happen on your device. Your screenshot image does not need to be uploaded to RATdeck just to capture or edit it. Account and subscription information is handled separately.

Local-first by design

More than capture

Capture the page, then finish the review in the same tool.

Many full-page screenshot tools stop after generating an image. Capture continues into editing, privacy, comparison, reporting and professional presentation.

Full page screenshot explained

What is a scrolling screenshot?

It captures content below the fold

A normal screenshot only records what is visible in your current browser window. A scrolling screenshot moves through the page and captures additional content below the fold. The captured regions are then combined into one image representing the complete webpage.

This is especially useful for long landing pages, articles, product pages, dashboards, support documentation and website reviews where the order and relationship of sections matter.

Why stitching quality matters

Modern websites are not always simple documents. Sticky headers, floating buttons, fixed sidebars and dynamic components can stay on screen while the page moves. A full-page screenshot tool needs to avoid duplicating those elements every time a new viewport is captured.

Capture's existing stitching architecture is designed to add the new unseen region from later captures instead of repeatedly painting the same viewport content over earlier sections.

Full page screenshot FAQ

Questions people ask before capturing an entire webpage.

How do I take a full page screenshot in Chrome?+

Install Capture, choose Full Page, and start the capture on the webpage you want. Capture scrolls through the page and stitches the result into one screenshot before opening the editor.

Can it capture a webpage longer than my screen?+

Yes. That is the purpose of Full Page mode. It captures content below the visible browser window instead of limiting the result to the current viewport.

Can I annotate the full page screenshot?+

Yes. The built-in editor includes arrows, boxes, circles, highlights, pen, text, callouts, crop, blur and pixelate tools.

Will my screenshot be uploaded to a server?+

Normal screenshot capture, stitching and editing are designed to happen locally on your computer. Screenshot image content does not need to be uploaded to RATdeck for those workflows. Account and subscription communication is separate.

Can I capture a mobile version of the full page?+

Yes. Responsive capture can trigger the site's responsive CSS at desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile viewport sizes before performing the page capture.

Can I export a long screenshot to PDF?+

Yes. Professional PDF workflows can paginate long screenshots so they remain readable instead of shrinking the entire page onto one tiny PDF page.
