Arrows
Point directly to the element that needs attention. Adjust direction, thickness and color after placing it.
Capture a webpage and add arrows, text, boxes, circles, highlights, freehand notes, numbered callouts, blur and pixelation in one fast Chrome workflow. No separate editor. No unnecessary screenshot upload.
Screenshot markup tools
Capture is designed for practical visual communication, from a quick arrow on a screenshot to structured QA feedback with numbered review notes.
Point directly to the element that needs attention. Adjust direction, thickness and color after placing it.
Outline sections, components and visual defects with editable shapes, fills and opacity.
Type directly on the screenshot with size, bold, italic, alignment and color controls.
Emphasize important text, controls or sections without covering the underlying content.
Draw freehand marks when a quick visual note is faster than a structured shape.
Conceal names, emails, account details and other sensitive information before sharing.
Obscure private content using adjustable pixel blocks while keeping the redacted region obvious.
Create step-by-step visual feedback with editable labels, styles, titles, review notes and priorities.
Protect before you share
Screenshot annotation is often used on dashboards, invoices, customer portals and internal tools. Privacy controls should be part of the editor, not an afterthought.
Use blur or pixelation on email addresses, names, account identifiers, financial values, patient/customer information or anything else that should not appear in the final image.
Capture's privacy effect remains applied when its mask appearance is adjusted, so opacity controls do not simply reveal the original sensitive content underneath.
How it works
Use Full Page, Visible Screen, Select Area, Select Element or a responsive-device viewport.
Add arrows, shapes, text, highlights, pen marks or numbered callouts exactly where they are needed.
Blur or pixelate private information and crop away anything that does not belong in the final screenshot.
Copy the image, download WebP/PNG, create a presentation, or turn review notes into a professional report.
Built for real review work
Mark the exact broken component, add a numbered issue and explain what should change.
Comment on hierarchy, spacing, alignment, typography and responsive behavior visually.
Add simple arrows and instructions to show customers exactly where to click or what to enter.
Create cleaner visual instructions using numbered callouts, highlighted controls and short labels.
Pair visual annotations with review notes and priority so implementation questions are reduced.
Turn marked-up screenshots into branded review reports or presentation-ready visuals.
Screenshot editor in Chrome
A screenshot already provides visual context. Annotation adds intent. An arrow can identify one control immediately, a box can define the exact affected area, and a short label can replace several sentences describing where a problem appears.
Capture is not limited to the visible part of a webpage. A long scrolling screenshot can be opened in the same editor, marked up and cropped using controls designed for very tall captures.
If you only need one component, capture a selected region or DOM element first. You can then add the same arrows, shapes, text, blur, pixelation and callouts without editing an unnecessarily large image.
Private screenshot markup
Capture is designed around local screenshot processing. Normal capture, stitching and annotation happen on your computer, allowing you to review and redact an image before it leaves your device.
Blur and pixelation help prepare screenshots containing information that should not be shared. They are useful for internal dashboards, account portals, invoices, CRM screens, admin tools and support screenshots.
For deeper reviews, numbered callouts can carry a title, note and priority. Pro workflows can collect those issues into review reports and multi-screenshot PDF deliverables.
